Lucky you! My Dreamcast, N64 and Turbografx all play at half the speed on my HDTV. They all use composite cables, so i'm guessing that has something to do with it. All of my other older systems that use an RF aerial work fine.

She'd throw that at me, haha. She already asked for some dumb Panasonic skin humidifier thingie that I have to order from Japan cuz they don't sell them here. What a pain in the ass! This thing is going to look stupid on the nightstand.

But I am with EvilRyu, that game looks good. I didn't even know about it because I know nothing about the Wii. I'll probably be up pretty late researching some good Wii games. Thanks for the tip!
A fair compromise, maybe keep Wii in the other room though.

House of the Dead one of my favorite Lightgun games. My dreamcast lightgun doesn't work with my CRT HD. At least I can shoot the zombies on my CRT VGA computer monitor.

Wii motion controls are great for the Lightgun games. Works on any HDTV.

I noticed lag when I first tried to play Donkey Konga through the Wii on our projection screen. I don't remember if I ever tested that again.

Move over here to the swamp coast then she'll have all the humidity she could want and more.

If you don't know much about Wii games, you might consider looking at:

- Boom Blox (best non-sports use of motion controls?)
- Cursed Mountain (only if you like old-school survival horror)
- Dawn of Discovery
- Dead Space Extraction (probably better to wait for PS3 version)
- Fire Emblem
- Geometry Wars Galaxies (maybe... depends on how much you like these types of games)
- House of the Dead Overkill (already mentioned, but hilarious)
- Little King's Story
- MadWorld (it's short, but you wouldn't want to play this for 40 hours anyway)
- Metroid Prime Trilogy
- Muramasa (repetitive, but beautiful)
- No More Heroes 1 and 2 (way too much waggle, but quite funny)
- Okami (if you don't have the PS2 version)
- Resident Evil 4 (best version, although not necessary if you've played on other consoles)
- Resident Evil Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles (if you aren't tired of on-rails shooters, they are a nice summary of the series)
- Silent Hill Shattered Memories
- Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2
- Tatsunoku vs Capcom
- Trauma Center series
- Wario Land: Shake It

There are some games worth playing on the system. Luckily most of them can be found pretty cheap now.
