Let's see... Some notable US Saturn RPGs. From the top, then.

Traditional RPGs
Panzer Dragoon Saga
Shining Force III ep. 1
Dragon Force
Shining the Holy Ark
Albert Odyssey
Blazing Heroes/Mystara (crappy graphics but actually a quite good RPG)

Action/RPGs
Shining Wisdom
Dark Savior
Legend of Oasis
Magic Knights Rayearth

That's US titles. The Japanese titles expand the list greatly. Sure, it's not an enormous selection, but it's good enough for me. Some of my favorite RPGs ever are in those lists.

Sorry -- I guess I should have been most specific in my question...
What are the Japanese import RPGs?

Ah yes, I forgot about Lunar, Grandia, and the Phantasy Star Collection.
Didn't know Suikoden had a port though....

Etch a Sketch.

Infinite possibilities, and thousands of times better AI than anything 7th Gens and PCs can come up with. I've played Oblivion, and it was a lot of fun, but the AI was still pretty lame compared to what you get from PnP RPGs.

Voted SNES. PS1 has some great ones and PS2 has many, many of them ... but the ones on SNES are just so classic and solid. Plus, no FMV bullshit. Just gameplay.

I went with other as well... the 4 consoles I prefer don't have an abundance of RPGs, but they are the RPGs I grew up with.

Genny, SCD, Saturn, Dreamcast. Yep Sega...

For a single console I'd have to go with Saturn.

PS1 has my vote! Best US RPG selection without question. Amazing, dynamic and unique rpgs. FF series especially Tactics, Xenogears, Grandia (in English!!), Valkyrie Profile, Suikoden 1 & 2, Lunar re-releases, Vagrant Story, Star Ocean, Chrono Cross....eeah gads there are tons more.

I love the Saturn and it has some great RPGS (Shining series is my favorite) but only about 6 or 7 saw a US release, Maybe some of ya'll can read Japanese, but I can't!! And an RPG without a story just ain't an RPG. Lack of RPG's has always been Sega's weak point in the US market. Working Designs(RIP) tried, but they also produced some of the best PS1 ports as well.

SNES RPGS are awesome!!! And that was my first collection, but by comparison the PS1 has way more quality rpgs. Plus a bunch of great SNES Square titles were re-released for PS1.

PS2 has some good titles, but Tales of the Abyss is the only one so far that has really impressed me. I need to play Suikoden 3 and Dragon Quest 8, though.

Even if you're a Sega Fan, ya gotta admit Sony did something right with getting Square on board and having all the great Working Designs ports. Best RPG system ever, no question about it.
