I thought the 90s was the greatest era of basketball... Malone, Stockton, Jordan, Pippen, Robinson, Ewing, Hakeem the Dream, Barkely, KJ... You basically had the greatest player of all time in that era, and a great set of bigmen.. The 80s were awesome as well.. :P This era of basketball sucks can we all agree?
i also love the 90s basketball era. actually both 80s and 90s combine are the best era in basketball period. Run TMC! 8)

today's era of basketball sucks? i can agree with some side of that. it's more about money, whining and crap these days. it's no wonder the US basketball got beaten in the world championship few yrs ago. too much ego, not enough team work..

why would you say that? Jordan scoring 69 points against noise's Celtics was Epic! Jordan 3 time slam duck champion. skinny soft Pippen in the making. Phil Jackson small afro, the list goes on..

80's > 90's and it's not even close. Pretty much you had one super star in the 90's who dominated after Bird, Magic and Isiah all retired. I wouldn't put any of the other stars of the 90's in the same realm of those guys and probably the only reason Hakeem has two rings is because Jordan got suspended for gambl...umm I mean decided to retire to play minor league baseball.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree... Nothing compares to the talent level of the 90s... You had the combination of talented youth(Garnett, Kobe, Iverson, Starberry), and superstar veterans(Stockton, Jordan, Malone, Pippen, Barkely)... Magic and Bird were more marketable than the superstars in the 90s minus Jordan, but you can't say the league was deeper in that era either... IN the 80s you basically had the Celtics, Lakers and to a lesser extent, the Pistons and Trailblazers... I think something like 7/10 seasons in the 80s were the Lakers vs the Celtics, hardly no parody at all, and the reason? Those teams had superstars and the most talented big men in the league(Kareem, Parrish, McHale) Pretty much no other team had a chance.. Atleast in the 90s you had the Bulls facing a round robin of great Western Conference teams like Seattle, Phoenix, Portland and Utah.. Then you mix in the other great teams that almost made it like the Pacers, Spurs, Rockets and Knicks and you pretty much had the most star studded era of basketball.. I think we are both going to have to agree to disagree, but it definitely would spark a great debate..
