Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

"We reserve the right to limit quantities. Items are subject to availibility."

Underlined word is spelled incorrectly.

I know you have the below disclaimer for typographical errors.

"We are not responsible for printer, typographical errors, or otherwise inaccurate information."

But I'd recommend always using a spell checker.

I like the design, clean and professional-looking. I got nothing to add, except I kind of hate how I have to click/enlarge the weekly ad before I can read the details clearly, but I'm not sure, maybe my resolution is too high (I think 1280x1024 is average, though).

Not related: I LOLed at "Massive Meat Sale" :p

If you look at the flier you'll see why they chose those colors, its because anyone can read it ;)

If your not colorblind however, the site works well.
Yikes, didn't even think of that. Will look into it.

Thank you! Will fix that.

Which part of clicking to enlarge are you talking about (the home page or once you click into the weekly ad)?

I seem to remember someone mentioning a tool for testing web pages for colorblind issues...
This one?

Also thinking about adding a newsletter.

1. Do you guys subscribe to newsletters or prefer to get updates a different way?

2. Any favorite software for creating a newsletter?

I've found quite a few solutions, everything from a third party to diy.

The Weekly ad at the homepage, it's text heavy with important stuff like price, but the size of the image makes it hard to read/heavy on the eyes without opening it in its original size, which I find odd because it only needs to be enlarged by a few percent before it becomes instantly legible. It is a very, very minor gripe. Feel free to ignore :)

My ad page takes a while to load, anything that can make it load faster (with still having the same amount of images)?

Country Mart
I think that slow load is because of the large pics being loaded and reduced by your photo site as all the preview pics on the right hand side. Direct reduced file sized preview pics should speed the process.

If you have OSX, use iPhoto. Import then export as JPG and set the pic size to the preview size.

For PC there is Infraview, a great freeware pic utility.

Good idea on scaling the pics first. I guess the way I have it now it has to load the entire image then scale it down to size making it take longer.

What types of grocery items do you guys or people you know buy online?

I think health and beauty type products might be good, but we can't get them as cheap as other places so the prices might be higher. I think I would try it out on Amazon first to see how things are.
