They stole a buncha stuff. MOST of my game collection is gone. PS3, Wii, NES, SNES, and games for those systems.

They tried unhooking my TV and sound system but gave up as it was taking too long probably. My microwave is gone, some money I had on the counter is gone. I havent looked downstairs to see if anything was jacked... I don't think anything was... MY basem ent is full of boxes.

I am thankful my PC and laptops didn't get snatched though. My PC is wired into my wall, so I can use it in any room of the home... It's pure geekdom here

Wow... I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet but... have you tried filing a police report? In the states, pawn shops and police have access to a DB of stolen items and if you provide serials for your larger items, they will be able to track any attempts to sell to a pawn shop.

I've had 2 grand worth of tools stolen from me, filed the police report with serial numbers of the expensive power tools and the details of everything that was stolen, and I never hard from it again... The only time something came up from a filed police report from me was a car after I gave them detailed documents such as pink slip, title and registration... I guess it all depends but I think I would rather file a claim than a police report... Anyways, I'm really sorry to hear this and as someone who's been the victim of theft, it straight up sucks...

I'm sure this is probably some sort of standard - the pawn shops around me have to wait 10 days to put anything out incase the items are stolen etc. If you file a police report, as far as I know they are suppose to go to local pawn shops to check it out.

Only problem is if you file it right away, it would probably only work if they sold it all to a pawn shop locally asap. :/

Well that's good to know, because that increases the chances of the perpetrators being caught. Also, it probably helps you with your claim because there is actual proof of multiple robberies in your area..
