I got burgled....

Nearly everything I had is gone. Not very happy. Has this happened to anyone else here? If so what did you do. Is claiming worth it?

That is horrible. If you have insurance, I would definitely claim. I assume all your possessions got taken (not just games)? Keep an eye out for the stuff locally, eBay, etc. Do the police have some leads?

I do remember some one posting about their house or apartment getting robbed. Now that I think about it, I might have seen more than one thread about it before.

Totally sucks. The thought of it makes me so fucking mad, I can't even think about it.

That's terrible.

My girlfriend had her collection pilfered during a robbery several years ago, resulting in the loss of most of her PS2 RPG collection. I've managed to buy back most of what she lost, but she's still upset over it. Had another situation in which a friend's PS3 was stolen. He's reverted to purely playing PC games and a Wii someone gave him and refuses to buy another one.

That really sucks. Be sure to check craigslist in your area and perhaps pawn shops so maybe you can catch the thief. Any marginal acquaintences who know your work schedule?

I would definitely be checking Craigslist, ebay, pawn shops, second hand shops, and anything I could think of. They said on Pawn Stars that they have to hold newly bought merchandise for a certain amount of time before they can sell it, by law, in case it was stolen.

In Canada people leave their home doors unlock, saw it on Michael Moore film.

Canada is sometimes cool all for well known comedian actors. My favorite new actor is Kenny Hotz for kenny vs spenny show. Kenny hotz lives in l.a., California. :)
