What Game System Had The Best Launch?

I'm trying to think of launch titles for the PS2 myself, I know I did get one on the second shipment(just cause I worked there) and bought Madden, so that was one and it was really pretty, but didn't have all the features of the same years title on the psx/n64. The only launch title of note from that era I really remember is Luigi's manson.

yeah I bought a launch PS2, but only had PS1 games for a while since the PS2 itself was so expensive. Haha.

from my personal experience i would have to say the Original playstation. Just came out with support from all around... all good decent to really good games. Modern franchise seem to be born or flourish during that era of the psx.

I would definitely vote against the SNES launch as the best, but I am not yet sure which I would say had the best. The PS1/2 both had memorable launches, but I haven't explored those in depth yet in an article so I am not sure if I am certain that they would get my vote as the best. Of major consoles, the Saturn probably had the worst.

XBox 360 had a flawless launch. Absolutely no problems there. A++++++ WOULD WAIT IN LINE FOR 12 HOURS AGAIN.

PlayStation 3 clearly had the best launch selection. Everyone has been envious of the PS3's amazing library since the beginning.

Besides, the ColecoVision had timeless unforgettable classics like Turbo, and Lady Bug.

I didn't get it at launch but when the 360 came out they were almost impossible to find at first, I found one for sale in a small rink-a-dink town at there shitty out dated walmart so I drove the entire way in a blizzard with horrid road conditions and got a 360 with Call of Duty 2 and Condemned, after that I ate frozen brocoli and Peanut Butter Puffs for 2 weeks, and I would do it again.

For me it's the Dreamcast. Probably the only console launch I ever got really excited about. I picked up Sonic Adventure with it. It didn't dissapoint. It was a great console.

I thought Sonic Adventure was awesome back then. I still think it's a good game now but I was just blown away by Sonic in 3D back then and I actually liked the cheesy vocal tracks they had in the game

Virtua Fighter 3TB didn't actually impress me too much, in fact I was disappointed with that, but a few of the other I really loved. Trick Style being one of them for some reasons (Wait... was that a launch title?)

The N64 was also pretty damn cool. Well, all 4 games it launched with. But they were awesome games!

And seriously, wtf at people saying the PS2? Maybe it was different in the US, but in the UK it got launched with shite games, and no where near enough consoles to meet demand, making it a complete failure. It wasn't until a month or 2 after xmas that things started to get better for the system.
