It'll definitely be a Wii 2 imo. Mark my words, and I reckon they'll still be able to make a sucess of it. I just think they've created too big of a brand with the Wii, to just kill it off and create a new product from scratch. They'll probably try to make it innovative again though, instead of just updating it with new graphics etc.

Wii 3D HD imo. I know they're doing the 3D thing with the DS, but I reckon they'll head down that route too with the Wii. That's if 3D tellys take off and once they come down in price. That may be a way off though.

Rip off whatever cool new idea Nintendo comes up with and charge more for it.

And have it come out five years later when nobody cares about said idea.

Well they probably won't do anything for years yet.

But expect everything they've done already, but "better". *Yawn*.....

Anyone saying something like HD graphics or a Wii 2 is pretty dumb. Look at Nintendo's past, they're ALL about innovation. It may have HD graphics, but that's just because all the other consoles have it, but it will be better in some other way.

I mean, a "Wii 2" is possible, but just as a redesigned Wii, and I don't think that's what the question is asking.

I doubt any of you will be able to guess what Nintendo has up their sleeves next. This is probably due to everyone shooting down ideas because of current technological limitations. Do you guys understand that Nintendo is working AROUND and THROUGH these limitations? Technology is always advancing, and Nintendo is one company that is trudging through tremendously.

I mean, look back, 2 years ago if someone said Nintendo will make a new handheld that will have 3D without glasses, it would either be made as a "My dream:" post or will have gotten shot down because it wasn't possible at that time.

You guys should stop thinking inside the box and start thinking out of it.

And why do you think a "Wii 2" cannot be "innovative"?

The 3DS is essentially an exstention of the DS name, but that obviously brings new innovations with it. Nintendo will do the same with the Wii, I'm willing to bet. Quite what innovations they will bring, I don't know, but I think 3D possibly will be one if 3D tellys do take off.

Nintendo have built up too big a following and success with the Wii name, for them to abandon it.

Btw, no offence, but calling people dumb for their opinions and telling people to think outside the box seems a bit condescending and rude. No one knows what Nintendo will do next, and that includes you.

To me the 3DS is what the Virtual Boy should have been in the first place. But I get what you're saying.
