I actually do that a couple times a year. I'll box up my current systems and then break out my NES. I then spend about a week or two going through my entire NES library. Then I'll box up and bring out my Genesis and spend a couple weeks on that (at least 2 weeks with my nice collection). Then put that one away and hook up my SNES. Then eventually... my Saturn, my N64, my PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, and finally my 360.Anayo wrote: I thought it would be fun to do something like only play Atari for a week, then NES for the next week, something 16 bit after that then 32 and so on and so forth.
I like to rotate them at least a couple times a year because it...
a. brings back memories
b. makes me realize how far technology has come and appreciate current gen. more
c. allows me to play the games that I've picked up since I last had it hooked up
d. keeps all my old systems and games from sitting too long and collecting dust
