Would you like to do a full review for the front page?
A comparison to the original would be nice :)

That would be great. As soon as I pick it up and get some playtime in I'll see what I can come up with! I've been playing the original Nights more than Super Mario Galaxy lately... so I suppose I'm qualified.

Well Yuji Naka's quoted fears seem to be coming true, according to the early reviews. It just doesn't live up to the original or do it justice, and IGN even said they'd have preferred the nostalgia to be left alone, intact. That's basically what Yuji said he wanted to do.

In what ways? Most gaming sites are blocked while I'm at work...

What gets me is Yuji naka siad he only would want to see a NiGHTS sequel if it did more than just update the graphics, taking the game play to a new level. The reviews seem to indicate that the game play is no different from what the original was like, and in some places WORSE. He also once stated about thinking the Wii would be the perfect console for a new NiGHTS, yet there is no decent motion controls in this Wii game at all.

Sigh.

That's exactly what I was getting it. I'd really love to hear what he has to say now.

I'm very torn. Very unsure I would be able to handle the mediocrity. Better off playing some Japanese Christmas Nights I think.

Of course the fanboy in me will have my sorry ass at the mall in an hour buying it.

Blah, I can't find it anywhere. I even went to the mall, and I HATE the mall... if it's not at the local big boxes by tomorrow then I'm gonna order the damn thing. Kinda a pain for what sounds like a mediocre game.
