I actually just got KOF EX 1 and your blog was spot on- great fighter (even the tag feature is unwelcome) but it feels unpolished. The static backgrounds are kinda distracting, if that makes any sense.noiseredux wrote:http://www.rfgeneration.com/blogs/noise ... s-1405.phpBreetai wrote:There are a few good fighters on the GBA if you have a DS or DSlite.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

the two Street Fighter games are amazing. Tekken Advance is totally worth it too. I've heard that the 2nd KOF EX is really good as well.Flake wrote:I actually just got KOF EX 1 and your blog was spot on- great fighter (even the tag feature is unwelcome) but it feels unpolished. super street fighter II turbo revival on the gba is fantastic, definitely worth picking up!
Re: Need Recommendations for Fighting Games on the DS
Thanks for the recommendations guys, especially noiseredux's. My DS is a lite, so I just went ahead and bought Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Tekken Advance. Awesome games and way cheaper than DS titles. I also grabbed Dragonball: Advanced Adventure, which as I remember, also has a serviceable 1 on 1 fighting mode (I just need to unlock the other characters outside of Krillin and Goku).

Dude, good move. Dragonball: Advanced Adventure is an unsung hero of the GBA.

NeoDS augments the available choices pretty neatly, but you'll need a flashcart for that. Too bad CPS2 isn't emulated on the platform.
