Not sure if I ever want to like a game. There are a couple of games that I thought I would like but ended up not liking. Viewtiful Joe 2 I ended up really hating. Like the idea of vfx powers but when playing the game I found the controls unresponsive and some of the puzzles to be stupid/lame. I also thought I'd like Devil May Cry 3 but I disliked the camera angles and wasn't a fan of the music.

I want to like Diablo 2. All my friends play it and they're always trying to get me to play it... but I just don't like it. I can't ever have fun while playing it, for some reason.

Did you like the first one? I ask because I really liked the first one. While I enjoyed the second, it never quite captured the feel of the first Diablo for me.

Left 4 Dead 2 -
I understand where they were going by wanting to add new exciting things but the game has changed way too much. I mainly have a problem with the incendiary ammo, melee weapons, and the new characters are just worse than the original cast
I'm still need to finish Prey. I think it is a pretty good game, but it's one of the few games that make me nauseated while playing it, so I haven't felt compelled to play, though I got pretty far in the game before I quit.

I can get you point in Left 4 Dead 2, though I like it better than 1. I like a lot of the things you dislike. I like the personality of the new characters better, I enjoy slashing zombies apart with the machete, and I like the daylight scenes because it actually feels more like the whole world has gone to hell when that shit is happening in broad daylight. That being said, I went back and played the first one again and I found that it was more difficult because the machete and the bright lights make it a lot easier. I think the first probably has some better repeat value for that reason.

Almost every rpg with a turn based combat system. Often times I enjoy the story and the characters, But the gameplay just gets too tedious. Whenever I come to a spot where I have to spend some time grinding it just kills all momentum. I generally put the game away and never play it again.

Metal Gear Solid Playstation recently I tried it by today's standards the game looks ugly I tried to look past that to the gameplay but it did not suck me in I own part 3 Subsistence on PS2 that game did not suck me in either maybe the MGS is not for me I enjoyed the Splinter Cell games on XBox more.

The Legend of Zelda the Windwaker I played the original on NES to death same with part 3 on Snes, same with Ocarina of Time on N64 but this game did not suck me in like the other games in the series it has the graphics and gameplay but there is something missing I will give it another try someday.

Metroid Prime Echoes the first Metroid Prime game blew me away t this day it is one of the best games I have ever played but much like Zelda Windwaker the game did not get me hooked on it.

Metroid Prime. I want to like Metroid. I played a few hours of Super Metroid and loved it. I love the Metroidvania games (castlevania).

But exploring such a vast game, in first person, and everything looking so alike, AND a really crappy map, makes me dizzy.

The only one could think of at the moment is Silent Hill 2, I really want to enjoy it but I just personally don't like backtracking, My strategy when it comes to Survivor Horror games is just conserve your ammo and just use melee weapons until you are in a conformable amount of ammo, but I hated the melee weapon that you start out with, so I had no choice but to run away most of the times, plus I hate when I get stuck and I don't know what to do next.

Are you saying that you use the melee weapon in survival horror games? thats amazing. pure amazing. i cant stand melee weapons in almost any game, especially old school resident evil. And your avatar is fun of win, just saying.
