You have to understand, I knew about THE EXPENDABLES since it got the green light, and had been following it for around two years. It was everything I hoped for, an action porn directed by Sly. Not a 4 star movie, but I got what I expected.

It came out in Greece this Thursday (ffs local distributors). I've already read the books (after seeing the first trailer I bought them all) played the video game (not that it matters when talking about the movie) and went to see it yesterday.


I loved it. First of all the casting was ACE. Specially Wallace and Kim, my favorite characters from the comic, were spot on. I agreed with some of the changes they made, but honestly the Knives thing wasn't handed well (with the exception of the jumping out of a window scene hahahahahaha). And really at the ending I was like WTF Scott is going to date Knives????????

Also why didn't Scott and Ramona finish Gideon alone with their swords?

The scene with Knives fighting Ramona was supposed to happen waaaaaaay earlier, and it just didn't make sense when they put it in the end. (and a smaller nitpick, didn't Knives get red highlights instead of blue?)

I actually liked that they didn't have the 7 ex girlfriends pods in the movie (that was way WTF even for the comic).




But it ain't a movie for everyone. The theater had like 20 people, and a couple sitting next to me got up and left after the first evil ex boyfriend. But the rest who stayed loved the movie, judging by their laughter. Even so, I was the one laughing the most in the theater .

Loved it, going to buy the blue-ray when it gets released.


Also I LOVED the soundtrack of the movie.

I think the only poorly-casted roles in the movie were Roxy and Gideon. Roxy was way fatter than what she looked like in the comic, and her costume and hair looked completely different. Also, Gideon was an evil genius in the comic, but he's just a total douchebag in the movie. Sure, that makes him much easier to hate, but it just didn't feel right.

Ramona and Stephen were spot-on, though. I couldn't think of better choices if I tried. The rest of the evil Exes were great, too.

I personally find Kim quite hot. Not in the same way as Ramona, but she is still my favorite character in the series. I like girls with a bit of an edge to them. As many of you likely know, I am a total smartass, so you can see why a girl like Kim would be my type.

You find the character hot or the actor playing her? Anyway I'd do any of them, but I'd prefer an Envy + Scott's sister threesome .


God I loved this movie so much. I lend my ex the first volume of the comic, and she loved it, and now she wants to see the movie as well. Will probably see it a second time in the cinema myself.

Googling "scott pilgrim hentai" tells me it already exists. I'm sure it existed 5 minutes after the book came out.

Watched the movie today. I loved it Also, I'm going tomorrow to buy it on DVD and it will be the first game that I'm gonna download.
