I still need to see it. I just haven't planned ahead enough to go to the theater as of late. Probably I'll rent it.

loved it! i'm canadian and lived in toronto for 5 years so seeing everything again was cool, not to mention it was like a live action version of soul caliber. i knew i was going to love it as soon as i heard the opening music: legend of zelda theme.

I second that vote of awesomeness. Just an all around good time. I just finished reading the 2nd graphic novel which is amazing also. They took the movie pretty much straight from the books but there is some cool differences and actually more video game references in the books than in the movies, and they are more subtle. Like there is one scene in the 1st where there's like 4 people sitting around with SNES controllers and the tv's going "Bomb up!". If you never played Bomberman you'd never be the wiser.

This is an awesome movie; I've gone to see it twice already. It is a movie that just makes you feel good when you watch it, which makes it the most enjoyable movie I have seen in years.

Its over rated. The casting for the characters were way off. They missed a good chunk of story.

The comic book and game were way better.

Oh give me a freaking break.

They took six graphic novels, several characters in a very-much-so fantasy setting and translated it to reality quite well in my opinion. You have to remember concessions have to be made to squeeze so much crap into only two hours and managing the PG-13 rating like they did I actually had my expectations far exceeded by the movie.

It's an amazing movie and a great complimentary piece of work alongside the graphic novels, game, music and animated short.

Well, would you rather have a 6-hour movie that follows the story by the letter? News flash; a movie based off a book will never get everything in, and that's just something you have to accept.

Definitely.

Plus, attempting to make all the game, pop culture, and other social references in the books would have been licensing hell and the movie would have never seen the light of day.
