5 bucks for A Link to the Past (didn't have any cash on me). went back and it was gone.

a craigslist posting in the town i'm living in selling arcade cabs and jukeboxes. all it said was "neo geo $100" not sure of the slot count, but goddamn I regret missing out on that one.

I know! isn't it weird?! I would have paid 30 bucks for it.
Oh, well. My buddy is in Japan right now and I'm just praying he brings me back a real Virtua Stick. not sure how much they go for over there but it's gotta be cheaper than the eBay prices...

Here's one of my missed opportunities - seeing a cart-only copy of Tengen Tetris for the NES at a thrift store when I was 11... for only $1. I remember glancing at it and thinking I'd get it, but I didn't... simply because I thought, since I didn't own an NES what was the point of buying games for it!
