Oh they are just some games from my sons closet. the games I got are called gunstar heros, aladdin, musha, toejam, sonic, some zombies game, a mutant league game, streets of rage 3, general chaos, sonic 2, castlevania bloodline, monopoly.
I almost had a panic attack. I'm broke until payday. I emailed him, in desperation, asking if he would part the games out.

No reply for a day. I got this this morning:
Some guy offered me 20 bucks for all the games and he called my phone number which was on the ad which is why I put it on there so I sold them to him, do you just want to buy the sega?
So if you're having a shitty day today. Just think about this post. I guarantee it will make you feel better.
I've had similar experiences on Craigslist. My two examples were:

1. A guy was selling GameCube Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2 (non-plus) for $5. Essentially he was selling all of his games for $5. I go to his house and he had the case/manual for the game but no disc. F---! I told him to contact me if he ever found it but he never did.

2. Another time some college student was selling Mario DDR for the gamecube complete for $10. This was at a time when it was selling for $75+ usually. I had a couple of emails to arrange pickup time but someone was quicker than me.

this story wants me to remind everybody that I accidentally received a sealed copy of Phantasy Star I & II for $19.

@Noiseredux's abomination: God I miss the 80's.

There's a missed opportunity: Not being old enough to have properly appreciated the 80's.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Honestly, spending ample time in both, I enjoyed the 90s more.

I made my own luck today. Power Stone 2 is mine.

I was offered an Official NeoGeo arcade cabinet that had 256 games in it for 200 bucks but I didn't check my email in time so I missed out on the sale.
It was one of the 4 slot cabinets but it had a bootleg emulator game thingy so it had a shit load of games.

I'll add my own Craigslist miss...

A few months back, I had been reading up here on the rarest games lists. Stadium Events stuck out to me, and I even checked the differences between the NTSC and PAL versions.

Well, when I see Stadium Events for $45 on Craigslist and the photo shows the NTSC version, I'm literally in shock. I mean, it hadn't even been an hour and a half since it had been posted. I emailed the guy right away, and waited. A day. After I didn't get an email back, I emailed him again. I got a return message of "This posting has been deleted."
