You are totally missing out if you've never watched Geeking Out. Jim says some of the funniest things ever. "Overall Deadpool #35 was kind of disappointing with the art being very rough and the story being very week, but if you like Deadpool, pick it up".
Re: Scott Pilgrim versus the World
I agree with almost everything said here.
While the movie was an OK time waster, I would not go see it again. In other words it wasn't anything special.
Re: Scott Pilgrim versus the World
Hmm... well, I pretty much disagree with everything they had to say in that review.
Hell, I even disagree with the positives they had to say! While I really loved the comics, I honestly wouldn't call the art style "wonderful". It got the job done, and that's about it.

Re: Scott Pilgrim versus the World
I thought the movie was funny, fun, and entertaining in general. There are of course movies that go above and beyond those factors, but so long as does those things, I call it a good movie.
Re: Scott Pilgrim versus the World
I read somewhere that this movie was a flop, at least financially.
Anyone?

If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.
Re: Scott Pilgrim versus the World
Yeah, it was a huge flop financially. It's too be expected, considering The Expendables stole the entire Male demographic, Eat Pray Love stole the entire Female demographic, it's a niche movie and the advertising was sub-par when present.Haoie wrote:I read somewhere that this movie was a flop, at least financially.
