Well it's supposed to be about games you WANT to enjoy. Sometimes the line is pretty thin, though.AppleQueso wrote:Wait is this thread for games you want to enjoy or games you simply don't like? Some of the posts seem to be indicating the latter.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Can't speak for others, but each game in my posts are games I wanted to love but couldn't. Though I didn't completely hate all of them, I still found them frustrating and ultimately unsatisfyingAppleQueso wrote:Wait is this thread for games you want to enjoy or games you simply don't like? Jet Grind Radio. Great concept, beautiful graphics, everyone who loves the Dreamcast loves it. Except me. I am too clumsy to pull off the tricks needed to get to some of those tags. Just turns into frustration.

Dragon Age (360) sits on my self mostly unplayed, I haven't deiced if I just don't like it or if I am unwilling to put the time in to play it.
Same with the Silent Hill game on xbox 360, I found the combat to be to difficult for my nub ass.

Ico- I have touched on this before, I think the game is a great idea, executed very poorly, I really want to like it, but at the end of the day, its the escort mission from hell

It's better on the PC (also slightly more difficult). But trust me, it is very rewarding.saturnfan wrote:Dragon Age (360) sits on my self mostly unplayed, I haven't deiced if I just don't like it or if I am unwilling to put the time in to play it.

On this list, I'll say Kingdom Hearts. My friends all loved it, and not for the OMG SORA AND RIKU DO IT IN THE BUTT reasons most of the fandom does. I just found it boring. I stopped about halfway through the first. Additionally, I believe I've expressed my boredom with FFXII too. Beautiful game, interesting plot, (mostly) likable characters (fuck you Vaan), but godawful boring game mechanics. I ended up grinding to hell and back for several weeks, and still was behind. gambits and license board are annoying too. Around the demon wall I started referring to the game as "stare at Fran's ass and get interrupted by plot every now and then".

I took it to mean the newer series.AppleQueso wrote:GSZX1337 wrote:Ninja Gaiden. Both of them.
As for the topic at hand, I'll just say fighters and shoot em ups, which I don't hate, just never really got into em, and wouldn't mind finding the motivation to start to.
