I bought them from here :

If you Google on Cd/dvd seal wraps or sleeves find lots of on line store's who sell them .

Ah...I see. I'm looking for ones like the hard ones found in stores where they are locked up. Are those soft as well?
Also just warning you that stacking games horizontally in general is not a good idea due to gravity

Doesn't gravity work vertically as well?ChuChu Flamingo wrote: Also just warning you that stacking games horizontally in general is not a good idea due to gravity
It seems that over time a vertical alignment might place wear and tear on the prongs holding a disc, no? What's the danger in a horizontal alignment?

I think CDs will be mostly ok since they're smaller and weigh less but this is a carryover from vinyl storage. Storing records flat is bad because it puts pressure on the grooves as well as any lumps and the thicker spine side of the sleeve will add to the chance of warping. Storing them vertically is better for them.dsheinem wrote:Doesn't gravity work vertically as well?ChuChu Flamingo wrote: Also just warning you that stacking games horizontally in general is not a good idea due to gravity![]()

Re: Some of the Shmups i collect !
One reason is that the disk can become uneven and the other reason is that your inserts can get majorly damaged, especially if they are near the bottom of the pile due to weight. Open one of your dvd cases sometime and look at where the insert is inserted. There are grooves where the cd is on the back, and where the manual is inserted. Over time if left horizontal it can leave indents on your precious inserts because it will push against it due to gravity.
Look at these eco friendly cases. These will damage your inserts even more so then regular dvd cases if left horizontal.
