Um, have you seen Viewtiful Joe?
Gamecube with motion controls?
CPU / GPU / Memory
Wii - 729 mhz / 243 mhz / 24 MB - 64 MB (1TSRAM GDDR3) - 3 MB cache
Gamecube - 485 mhz / 162.5 mhz / 24 MB - 16 MB (ARAM) - 3 MB cache

Front-side bus bandwidth / main memory bandwidth / CPU DMIPS / cache
Wii - 1.944 GB/s / 3.888 GB/s / 1691
Gamecube - 1.3 GB/s / 2.6 GB/s / 1125

Texture cache bandwidth / framebuffer bandwidth / z-buffer bandwidth
Wii - 15.52 GB/s / 3.888 GB/s / 7.776 GB/s
Gamecube - 10.40 GB/s / 2.6 GB/s / 5.2 GB/s
The reason for this title not coming to the Wii has nothing to do with hardware.

Granted... I am drunk. But Viewtiful Joe is cell shaded polygons, no?

I am extremely drunk. I patted myself on the back for typing this shit...

I seriously doubt more than 25 percent of Wii owners are even aware that downloadable games exist on the system. It's just a market that hasn't much taken off on the Wii.

You're joking, right?

Oooo, I forgot about Muramasa.

Don't mind me. For some reason I was likening things to the 32 bit days. I have no idea why. I was extremely drunk last night.

I haven't even delved in yet. I plan to pick up Mega Man 9 and 10 of course. But I'd really only download stuff that I had to have and was not available physically.

Again, Nintendo has a cap on Wiiware game sizes that is far lower than that of XBLA or PSN. Correct me if I am wrong, but Scott Pilgrim is a 180 meg game, and the Wiis internal memory is 512 with something like 490 open to enduser. I think the cap is 40 megs on Wiiware, so without some major changes, it couldnt happen. End of story. Its not a "Wii doesnt have the market" issue it is simply a different kind of numbers game.
