BlackDS' new workout program is 10 times better than wii fit

Haha really though, if you want to work out, don't rely on video games.
I used to be a fan of running, though anyone that cares for their knees can find a better way to get in shape, alas.

And as long as it isn't unhealthy and serves as a motivator, who cares what someone relies on?

Oh my. I want to mount arcade controls to my bike. That would be fucking awesome.
I have an ASCII Grip one handed RPG controller hooked up to the PS1 for when I run.
The only problem I have run into is that when I am running on a time limit (ie before work) JRPGs are a pain because of save points. I made a post a while ago about games that save without save points. I guess I should look for the same ASCII pad for my SNES that way you can save on the world map at any time.

As for lifting, I usually play a ridiculous action flick from the 80's (anything with Arnie or Stalone) or a Jason Statham movie.

If you're using both your hands to play the game, how are you efficiently running? You need both arms pumping to run efficiently. Unless you're basically walking on the treadmill or slowly pedaling on the bike than I don't see how you can play?

I do run outside mostly but in the winter before work I use the treadmill and that's why the ASCII Grip is perfect for RPGs two-button systems.

My idea of exercise is not putting a mini-fridge next to my computer.

I've been hitting up the exercise bike while playing games on the PS3. Thanks to backwards compatibility I've got access to all my old PS1 RPGs, and Red Faction Guerrilla's Wrecking Crew mode is a blast, even by myself.

There are 2 triangles and squares so that left and right handed people can use it.
The X and O is on the bottom - the are trigger buttons similar to the C and Z on a Wii Nunchuk.

I map mine so that X and O are the talk/action and cancel buttons and the triange is the menu button. It works well for RPGs.

If you play rpgs, you dont need to use both hands on the controls at all times, or ever. So you can get away with running and just using a hand for input when needed.
