I've used Hori sticks on SS and PSX and will whole heartedly say they were great sticks, but since the Fighting Stick 2 (which they stupidly added rumble on, they placed it on the bottom of the stick shaft!) there's been a massive drop in quality. My main issue is the buttons, they sit on rubber pads which in turn sit on the PCB, in the same way a control pads buttons do. Leading to a squashy, mushy feeling when playing. Admittedly this is something alot of gamers don't notice, but as someone who plays alot of fighters and shooters it's something I pick up on immediately. It would be so bad if the sticks were moddable in anyway but the casings aren't deep enough for anything other than Hori stock parts.Breetai wrote:WTF???Krooner wrote:DON'T get a Hori.
DO get a Hori. I have had nothing but great experiences with Hori sticks. I suspect this guy doesn't know what he's talking about... Do you have some actual reason for advising against Hori, Krooner?
P.S. I'm wholly referring to the 'Fighting Stick' line of Hori controllers the Hori 'Real Arcade Pro' line is excellent for the most part and due to it using The same kind of parts as a TE or at least allowing you the choice to drop them in it's an individual preference between the two. I find I don't get enough wrist support on a HRAP
