And as far as I'm concerned, playing the game on medium or low settings is still playing the game.
so much truth in there.
Also a tip. If you are going to lower a graphic setting that should be shadows. TURN THEM OFF. They take a LOT of processing power, and really does anyone even pay attention to them? With the exception of Splinter Cell I don't remember another game that I played where I noticed the shadows.
So in order to get decent resolutions and textures turn off the shadows and you'll be fine.

Did you actually try uninstalling the broken drivers before putting fresh ones in? If it's a setting that's borked just installing fresh over the top might not help. You could also try a system restore to before the crash.

I did and it seems okay now. From what I understand, my card overheated.
Nope, it isn't okay. I think I have the latest drivers (I cant find a regular driver download on Nvidia's site and their auto-finder doesn't work). My computer isn't hot at all. I still can't run anything right. Even in the lowest settings my games won't run. To make matters worse, I tried to register for the Nvidia forums and the account validation didn't work. Even their emergency "if all else fails, register this way" didn't work.
What should I do!? Also, WHY CAN'T NVIDIA SEEM TO DO ANYTHING RIGHT!?
