This is basically confirmation that it is coming to PS3 and 360. Unless the delay is unbearable, I probably will hold out for those releases as I'd much rather play in HD with full fledged online support, trophies, superior sound, etc. Hell, I'd even shell out retail prices for the PS3 or 360 version.

at some point. I'm undecided how I'm gonna do it. I plan to get EITHER this or NBA2k11 in October, but not both at the same time. I might get 2k11 first as we'll have played NBA Jam for a month in August already. But I guess we'll see which I get first depending how I feel in Oct. :)

Food for thought; the ESRB rated Earthbound sometime after the Virtual Console came out.

So a slimmed down version of NBA Jam will be on the PS3 and 360 - but you have to buy NBA Elite 11 to get it.

I suppose if I think of this as buying NBA Jam for full price and getting NBA Elite 11 for free, that's not a horrible deal. Maybe the game will actually be good. If not, I hope they make it so that the Elite disc isn't needed to play Jam and I can just redeem the code and quickly sell the game back.

so who is getting the PS3 version?
