Well, It Finally Happened (a handicap parking space story)

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Nice to see a happy ending to this story. You really should find someone to have that fight with though

A fight in the cereal aisle would have been spectacular YouTube material, but I'm glad you handled it tactfully.

It happened at a Food Lion, so there would have been generic food flying everywhere if a fight would've gone down.

But, the way things went down really makes me smile. For the first time ever in what has probably been 75+ confrontations, someone actually thought about other people. I'm a Chicago kid at heart in a small NC town, so I don't mind confrontation, and that rubs some people the wrong way when I speak my mind. I'm adjusting well though.

People must be real assholes where you live because I never see people parking carts in the handicap parking here or when I lived in Texas. That said, good on you for speaking up.

Really caring in the way you pushed that cart out of the way. Most people would have left it sitting right there.
At the same time you made someone realize the importance of taking that extra step for one that couldn't. :D

The real selfish people I hate are the ones that abuse the Handicap placard, claiming any injury.
I thought the badge real intent is for one that has a difficult time in mobility.

Luke, it sounds like you should have taken the guy's keys, as he was clearly too inebriated to drive. :P
I think everyone on racketboy knows not to block handicap spots, especially if Luke is around. Shit could go down hard and you be pulling Cap'n Crunch out of your ears for weeks.
I bet I could take Luke.
