OMGZ, thread resurrection.

Did anybody see glitches yet.

One one hand, the gremlin thing was TERRIBLE.

But I just about died during the rocky glitches. Holy shit.

Yeah, the Glitch Gremlin was poorly done. However, this episode came at the right time for me, as I've been experiencing similar issues with my NES. It really allowed me to relate. I agree though, the Rocky part was hilarious. While the newer episodes have been somewhat better (at least, better than Hydlide, ugh) I still don't feel like they're quite up to snuff, and partly that's because the show's formula has aged. I just want to see what he produces in the coming months, maybe everything'll get back on track.

Personally I've been enjoying his newer stuff more. I was never a big fan of the toilet humour and over the top swearing, but i stuck through it to see the games he was talking about, and the information he gave (which while not always accurate, is still worth a listen i think). He seems to be playing up to the persona less lately, which i enjoy.

I like the newer ones more. If I had seen his stuff when he first came out, i don't think i would've liked him at all.

But yeah, I don't even usually mind when he has guests... But they should always be Mike or Kyle.

I still say Sega CD and 32X are the best.

PS - I was browsing YTPs, and found out that fuck nugget IG did reviews on tetris and tetris 2, Dammit. I just wrote my script for that. I'm going to do it anyway because I don't look like i smell like cheese, and thus will be able to pull it off

I think I first started watching AVGN in the summer of 2006 or 2007. I thought it was just hilarious, like pain in the gut laugh attacks. But I find him less funny now for some reason. I used to love it when he shit on stuff but now it's just meh. I haven't watched him in a while and I plan to catch up soon.

I'm quite a fan, especially of his videos showcasing hit and miss series (castlevania, for instance) or some of the TRULY bad games, like the CDI games. I also like the "history lesson" type of videos. I don't find quite as much humor out of the ridiculous bashing of certain old games that don't deserve it though, it can get kinda old. But I DO like being reminded of those old games, and he CAN make a lot of good points when he isn't referring to diarrhea.

I absolutely love AVGN. You shouldnt really take it for a "review" per se but much more like let's point out what I find shit and weird about this game. And he is really hilarious. Love how much work he puts into each show and he has an impressive collection!
Also love his Retro TV ahah.

P.s. Best part of the show: When he made me realise the Atari Jaguar CD looks like a Toilet seat ahahah
