Review of the PowerPak NES Flash Cart
well i did a little searching and it seems you would need an adaptor for nes to famicom..since as i understand fc carts have 60 pins and nes carts have 72 pins.D.D.D. wrote:I know an adapter is needed to play Famicon games on the NES, but does anyone know if you need one the other way around? I know the Famicon to NES was needed because of the physical size but as the Famicon is small, shouldn't the NES cart just fit?
You can make your own, I believearion wrote:well i did a little searching and it seems you would need an adaptor for nes to famicom..since as i understand fc carts have 60 pins and nes carts have 72 pins.D.D.D. wrote:I know an adapter is needed to play Famicon games on the NES, but does anyone know if you need one the other way around? There's a way to do it by gutting an old Gyromite cart. It's an early game, and it's actually just a Fami game inside an NES cart with a 60 to 72 pin converter built inside. Not every copy has it but many do. And copies of Gyromite can usually be had for 99 cents at most used game stores.Mozgus wrote:You can make your own, I believearion wrote:well i did a little searching and it seems you would need an adaptor for nes to famicom..since as i understand fc carts have 60 pins and nes carts have 72 pins.D.D.D. wrote:I know an adapter is needed to play Famicon games on the NES, but does anyone know if you need one the other way around? I've heard about that for the 1st gen NES games (with the adapter inside) but actually, I'm looking to do it the other way around. NES cart on a Famicom... I don't know if any adapter exists for 72 pin to 60 pin or how one would go about making one...RadarScope1 wrote:There's a way to do it by gutting an old Gyromite cart. I'm dying for them to get it in stock, probably been going to the page for 3 weeks now. Not long after they where sold out?
I read he was taking a holiday now, the 16th, and no orders would have any effect until he came home. So not gonna bother checking until he comes back again. And I can only hope he got some "christmas presents" along his return.
