Review of the PowerPak NES Flash Cart

Post by racketboy »

It's not perfect, but you might want to look into it if you like playing NES games on the real thing:

I have been waiting for this to become available for months now. I went to the Retrousb site and saw they had them in stock again, so i actually went out and bought a NES. When I got home to order the Powerpak they are unavailable again!!! Kind of ruined my day... (grin) At least I have a NES to play and all my old cartridges.

I check the site 3 times a day hoping they get them back in stock again. Fingers are crossed...

Why don't they take pre-orders as long as they know they will be able to have them in the near future?
I surprised they sell so fast considering they cost more than most people have laying around for NES stuff.

It seems odd to me also. I read an article with the person that runs the site and he was saying they had an order of 350+ coming in that should satisfy the demand for a while, I guess not.

I was torn myself, spending that much on the thing but. After all the months I've been waiting, I've put away the cash to get one. Plus all the other money I spend of old video game stuff, it is a drop in the bucket....Yes I have a problem. (grin)

I am pretty sure they said 350 or so. Either way it is crazy.

I have a oval button Saturn or I'd be ordering a mod chip from you too.
