The official statement was "Will be released in all regions by end of March", which basically is just a "Will be released in all regions this fiscal year". So we have no clue of actual launch dates, nor of timings of JP vs. US vs. EU.

Uh oh.. A revised pricing model?
Hmm. I doubt it. Development costs for any game, on any platform, have been steadily rising, year on year. However, prices of games are still at an all time low. As much as Activision tried to change that fact with MW2, thankfully nobody else in the industry followed suit. We might see 3DS games rise to around £39.99 RRP, but they've been at £34.99 RRP for a while now (since Bowser's Inside Story IIRC). I don't think we'll see much change in the future. Even if RRP goes up, most retailers will just absorb the increase anyway, much like they did when the Wii went to £200 RRP in this country, the prices stayed at £179.99. They're even lower right now, a black Wii can be had for as little as £139.99 in most places.

...I think It would be awesome if Super Mario Sunshine had a port to the 3ds.

Thank you!

I've been saying this ever since Mario 564 DS and have been hoping to see it on the next portable (now 3DS) sometime.

I also agree. That would be awesome. Especially with the analog stick, since the control on Mario 64 gave me cramps to no end.

The only problem is I don't want them to split the nozzles between characters, I want them to give all the nozzle to every character, make a new nozzle or two, and differentiate the characters based on 1)Jumping 2)Run Speed 3)Power 4)Swimming 5)Nozzle Strength

And Yoshi shouldn't be an in-game character, you should still ride him. But they should have a new character to take his place. At least one that you don't unlock until the end of the game. May I suggest Toad? I mean, if you don't unlock him until the end of the game, it won't affect the story line and he'll be cool to play with.

And Yoshi should still be allowed to go into water.

Most importantly, don't make the game easier, if anything make it more difficult. I understand why they did it with Super Mario 64 (mostly on Tick Tock Clock) since the control was bad, but now the control will be almost identical. I would love it if Super Mario Sunshine was made to about the same difficulty level as Super Mario 64. Especially the final level and final boss fight.

Actually, just replace the ENTIRE final boss fight with something that doesn't suck.

I agree with a Mario Sunshine port. Whilst I always thought I was slightly in the minority, I loved that game! I loved it almost as much as Mario 64 and don't get why some Mario fans don't like it too much.

I think it'll be perfect for a port to the 3DS.

You could have yoshi ride a yoshi

fyi, there doesn't have to be more characters to the port, an extra world or two would be nice though.

Aw, just imagine those retro scenes in 3D.

Well I figured Nintendo would add extra characters, following suit of Super Mario 64 DS. Can you imagine Wario with a water pack riding a Yoshi?

Well, the nozzles are kinda like extra characters in SM64DS, having both variables would be kinda overkill.
