Bidets are better than using toilet paper. You can buy bidet seats and retrofit them to American toilets.

I also noticed that you don't have an oven in the kitchen other than a toaster oven. Are ovens uncommon in Japan?

I like the idea of a washer/dryer combo. That saves the labor of moving stuff from one machine to the next. Also, it's quicker since you don't have to worry about the gap in time between unloading the washer and loading the dryer. Sometimes that can be an hour or more in my household if you're busy with stuff or forgetful.

Yup, it's a little sink for washing your hands.

Bingo! The faucet above the toilet tank is a sink. So when you wash your hands, the waste water is used in the tank afterward. It's somewhat of a water saver but a little small and kind of messy.

As for ovens, yes they are rare in Japanese homes. If you want to bake something at home usually you buy a convection oven, oven toaster, or microwave oven toaster. Most Japanese are content with just buying their cookies, cakes, and other baked goods at highly marked up prices at their local bakeries. As for me I use the microwave toaster hybrid not pictured but next to the fridge.

Wagon-R's are fun. I went through 3 Wagon-R RR Turbos as a weekday beater. I bought another one every time Shaken was due. I must've been through 8 or 9 kei-cars. I was one of those shaken evaders with all my cars except for my GT-R. I just sucked it up and paid the 160,000 yen it costs to shaken that thing.

The dryer combo is a real handy thing but it can take a few hours to get things completely dry. Can't put much into it if I want things to dry completely in one cycle. I prefer not to hang dry as it is kind of windy in my area and the smell of line dryed clothes in Japan is kind of musty because of the humidity in the air.

Yeah wagonRs are fun to scoot around in. They are great beater cars. My wife has a Pink Nissan March that I use when I go on the highway. I want my own regular full sized car but I have other priorities I have to fulfill first. At least it looks decent still after three years. Shaken sucks. I wish I had the tools to do it myself before I drove it into the center. Oh well.

I especially dig the game room, it has a real neat look to it I really like in AV centers.
