Upsidedown Fuji's new gameroom/apartment.

Post by Upsidedown Fuji »

I moved back in May into a new apartment after I got married so I got to resetup my game area in a proper living room this time. As some of you may remember seeing my older post from about a year ago, I lived in a small one room apartment in Japan. Now I live in a proper sized 2 bedroom and dining room apartment.

Here's a link to the old thread if you're curious how small a place can get in Japan. http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 28&t=14463

But enough about where I live, here's where I keep and play my games. :)

Here's my TV and game console setup. Simple, clean, and efficient.

Did you notice that window over my TV. Here's what you can see when you look out of it on a clear day. MT FUJI

I finally have specific places to keep my games. No more keeping them in boxes like at my old apartment.

Here's where I hide all my controllers and other hardware.

Some more games on the standing rack.

I might move the Dreamcast and Saturn to this rack also.

A real sofa! My last apartment barely had room to fit my tiny crap sofa. Now I can enjoy my games in comfort and style.

So that's it for now. All my other stuff is in the closet behind the sofa. Like my 2 sets Samba De Amigo Maracas and system boxes.

If you want to see the rest of the place, like my spaceage toilet seat or my washer/dryer all in one machine unit, just ask. I'll post more reference shots. :) I just didn't want to sit through more uploads and tagging since this is just a Gameroom topic. :)

I have to say your shelving is fantastic. I also love those fabric boxes (whatever those are) that hold all your controllers. Also congrats on the couch I hope you game on it for yours to come!

Yeah, the fabric boxes really come in handy. They are a little flimsy but hold up well once they're filled up.
