Which Company is best known for Mediocrity?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Zoo. Zoo is the worst publisher that exists, currently.

Maybe I learned it wrong, but I don't think of "completely and utterly awful" when I hear the word "mediocre". I just think "underwhelming" or "stale". As in, just nothing special. That's why I brought up Sega and Activision.

But yeah, if we're just talking about "Who makes the shittiest games?", it's definitely Zoo.
I agree with Zoo, but Destineer has got to be right behind them. Check out all the "quality" games they release for the DS and Wii.

I think Midway is about as bad as it gets, and yes I know they're bankrupt and closing down for good.

Since all my immediate answers have been suggested I think I'll add Phoenix Games to the list.

Though I wouldn't consider them "mediocre", I consider them just downright terrible.

I got to thank Midway for publishing Shadow Hearts though. When it comes to developing games, Midway is down right mediocre.

A few other mediocre companys for consideration:

Meridian 4 (Some ambitious, some imitative, rarely anything memorable though)
Strategy First (notorious for not even paying developers their share)
Sandlot Games (casual shovelware extraordinaire)
South Peak (I don't think they've ever broken out of the low 70s on a metacritic rating)
JoWood (A handful of good games can't outweigh the massive amounts of crap)
My contributions to the Racketboy site:
Browser Games ... Free PC Games ... Mixtapes ... Doujin Games ... SotC Poetry

I agree. It's not that they are "crap" but they are pretty uninteresting most of the time. From the top of my head the Giant series is full of mediocre games except for Traffic Giant and, perhaps, Industry Giant II (If you ignore the bad graphics).

Phoenix Games is who I thought of too. They must honestly be the worst publisher in the world. Just look at this shit!
