Anyone want to help with making a game?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Hmm, perhaps. I think with this game I'd go for the megaman/Tempo cover style. Most know of the horrors of the megaman boxart, but Tempo. . .

But Tempo is a crap game, one which I actually purchased for a cheap price.

Would anyone be interested in testing a very rough version of the first level? I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to move on and really get going on this game but I want to make sure it's headed in the right direction.

Sine your using MMF and it is quite shitty... Check out the free alternative Construct.

http://www.scirra.com

It is hardware accelerated, better content control, more robust scripting, everything is just... better.

I wouldn't say mmf is shitty. Construct is still relatively new and buggy. I downloaded it but after 10 years of using clickteam products, getting used to something new isn't something I'm about to jump on. Honestly for basic work I'm just using. . . mmf express. . . because I prefer the interface on most things. Later on it'll get converted over to mmf2. I'm glad there's a decent competitor who's pushing a product with more options though, clickteam has needed some competition to light a fire under their asses for a while.

I'm willing to test it and give you feedback, as long as you can wait until Friday when I'm done with finals.
I'm known as ZebetiteGlitch or Zeza Von Thantos on other platforms.

That's fine. I need to make some adjustments and I have a bunch of work to finish first (real work) so when I get something ready I'll let you guys know. Also going to make a writeup of what kind of stuff to observe while playing it.
