I own both Nights and Samba de Amigo on the Wii. I think if you liked Nights on the saturn you will like the wii version. If youve never played nights before. 50-50 chance youll like the wii version. Samba is fun, but damn the controls are way screwed up. You can't even follow the instructions, cause it wont work! You basically have to figure it out for yourself. For instance, you dont put your arms way up in the air. (like the game tells you to) You have to point the wii mote UP instead.. bad controls, but fun game.

I love Outrun 2006 and Super Monkey Ball for the iphone, it's great as a causal game.

I've seen some cutscenes for that game, it looks awful.

Because cutscenes really allow you to experience the gameplay. :|

If the cutscenes are unskippable (which I guess they are since it's an RPG), it really doesn't matter how fun the game is since the cutscenes will interrupt you.

I find that Sega was mostly pretty good still after 2002 until 2005. There are quite a few good games during the last generation of consoles. Pretty much everything on the Gamecube and Xbox by them is pretty good and a good portion of the ps2 games (not counting new sonic ones though, I liked the remakes though). Its this generation of consoles that Sega seems to have really gone down (green) hill (zone). They still have some good games but nothing that really wows anymore, I will say I like their Wii games better but thats only because I like Light gun shooters and remakes/revisions. Sega just reminds me of EA, they release too many games now and own too many other companies characters instead of making there own. I like quality over quanity.

Since you say the cut-scenes look awful, I assume it's the art style you have trouble with. Honestly, I love the art style. It's very unique. It's almost like the Jet Set Radio approach, except mimicking a painting rather than graffiti.

Aside from that, the gameplay is excellent. Definitely was an early justification for why I choose a PS3.
