Teehee.
If Gamestop's anything like like Gamestation and GAME over here in the UK then you should advise them to stop putting retro stuff right on the bottom shelves. I literally have to get on my hands and knees like a fucking animal to look at the stuff.

1. There's a chance the game got scratched opening it and putting it away in the drawer
2. Not all stores keep a good stock of sealed games for people like me that request it
3. There's a chance a new game "mistakenly" went home with an employee in a used game insert. Accidental scratches happen here and there but its still "new" right?
So yeah the7k is right there is no reason to ever buy a new game from gamestop.
Just to clear something up, new games can be taken home and tried out by employees, not just used. The only rule was that they had to be more than two copies and the game must not be a hot buy recent release, example: madden 2010 release week couldn't be checked out, but you could the following week if more than enough copies available. So yeah there is a small chance that that gutted copy you bought was played by an employee.
Maybe OP could rename Thread to Gamestop Praises and Gripes or Gamestop Dartboard.
MOD could maybe combine the posts? The way this is going might be long running like Video Game Finds.

I wish it WAS like this. Gamestop doesn't have any retro games. If it wasn't for GBA and Gamecube titles, I wouldn't even go there anymore.

Good call. Individual letters are generally more effective because of a personal touch. But I know that a lot of people won't take the time to do it, so someone could write a form letter and people could just copy and paste it, putting their own name on it and email it in.

I'm not so sure e-mail is the best choice. I don't know if it's directly comparable, but I know that for politicians, one physical letter is worth twenty e-mails. GameStop, being a more modern company, may feel differently, but it's something to consider.
Also, if a bunch of people just send me the exact same form letter via e-mail with different names attached, I'd just assume I was being spammed by one or two people spoofing a bunch of e-mail addresses.
