Indian copy of Dragon Age in Wal Mart.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

On a copy of DA:O one copy had the PEGI rating sytem which really jumped out to me. On the back of the game I realized it was an Indian copy of the game. It was the only one in the store that I could find.

I took the game to an employee to prevent anyone from accidentally buying it and having possible problems playing it. I wish I had a camera to take a picture of it but I didn't think I would have any reason to bring a camera and I'm not turning on a cellphone outside of Canada.

Has anyone else here found anything like this in a local store?
why the fuck does the Indian copy have the Pan European Game Informaion (PEGI) rating? And if it's in English don't worry PCs are region free, with some really strange exceptions (my copy of Oddworld Abe's Exodus, is american, and it worked on my windows 98 greek edition, but it doesn't work on greek xp, only american. haven't tried with 7)

I thought it would work but I'm not sure if EA has anything specific to certain regions on the game.

It's possible PEGI (indirectly?) extends to members of the Commonwealth and/or Francophonie, or the cover could have simply been reprinted with few modifications.

It's also possible the original owner of the game got it from India and traded it in somehow. Stranger things happened.

I know, I really wish I had brought a camera. But really didn't think I would have any need to.
Yeah, most people don't generally think before they got to the store "oh, I'd better get the camera in case I see a foreign game in the electronics section."
i, sir, am not most people.

Maybe they bought the game off of eBay from the same person who sold me my copy of Baldur's Gate two and they decided to trade it instead of mess with eBay.
