Uhh you do know it is a seperate episode, entitled "201" that aired tonight. By your logic Star wars has only had 2 movies. And that Every direct sequel was just the first game paused. A SEPERATE episode, Aired tonight, It is a continuation. They are two different episodes, not one.Luke wrote:Uh, you do know that this is one episode broken into two parts?yomomma1 wrote:Uh you do know that today is the 201st episode, last week was the 200th.
SOUTH PARK'S 200th Episode

Re: SOUTH PARK'S 200th Episode
It would make sense, but that hasn't been my experience. Out of the many people I've discussed it with, only one knew it was a real place. The rest all believed it was made up for the sake of the show.BoringSupreez wrote:I thought most people knew it was a real town.
But of course, I'm not saying that's the case with most people, just most of the out of state people I know. I've never met anyone actually from Colorado who didn't know, though I'd be concerned if I ever did.

Okie dokey.
You may be right, we'll wait and see if they bundle the two together when released on DVD. But you're not right. It's the 200th episode in two acts.
Star Wars is a trilogy of three acts, but yeah, maybe two would have been better.
The rest of your post makes no sense.
Re: SOUTH PARK'S 200th Episode
All I'm saying is that Matt and Trey meant for the two to be the 200 episode. Ease up.yomomma1 wrote:Here. http://www.southparkstudios.com/guide/ The episodes, numbered.
"For its 200th episode April 14 -- the beginning of a two-part story that concludes Wednesday night -- "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker decided to go all-in, creating a plot line about free speech in which most everybody the show's ever offended comes back. Among the episode's characters: the Prophet Mohammed, who is first pictured behind a black "censored" bar and later in a bear suit."

Well I guess your... it says Two part. NOT two part episode.Luke wrote:All I'm saying is that Matt and Trey meant for the two to be the 200 episode. Ease up.yomomma1 wrote:Here. http://www.southparkstudios.com/guide/ The episodes, numbered.

Re: SOUTH PARK'S 200th Episode
It doesn't say Two part, it says "Two part story".yomomma1 wrote:

It's "you're" not your.
It's also "separate".
And quit yelling.
Dude, they wrote one episode, that airs in two slots. If you have to be right, fine.
But ease up.
Re: SOUTH PARK'S 200th Episode
Let me just end off saying this. Most stories are in more than 1 part.

Completely agree with you.yomomma1 wrote:Let me just end off saying this. Most stories are in more than 1 part.
Re: SOUTH PARK'S 200th Episode
Let's use this quote again and change the emphasis:
"For its 200th episode April 14 -- the beginning of a two-part story".
It looks to me like they're saying that the 200th episode is the first part of the story, which is to be completed in the following episode. That does not mean that the second part is also considered to be the 200th episode-- just the the 200th is the beginning of the story. I don't see how one can use this phrase to infer that the two episodes count as only one.
