SOUTH PARK'S 200th Episode

Post by Luke »

This season has been unexpectedly great. The last episode wasn't as funny as the previous ones, but was still a great episode.

The big to-do about this episode is that apparently they'll show Mohammed, although they pretty much have already done that years ago.

Anyone watching tonight?

Pretty ironic that a radical muslim group (i want to say revolutionislam?) got mad because they showed him in a bear suit. Funny stuff.

Anyways, nothing tops their 100th episode. Cartman killing a delivery boy in 1776 while singing the theme to Dawson's Creek was priceless.

I was a huge South Park fan, but I haven't watched in quite some time. I just lost interest for some reason, but maybe I'll tune in tonight

Same here. I thought Trey and Matt should have hanged them up last year, but this year has been nothing short of fantastic. You definitely need to watch "You have 0 friends". Instant classic.

South Park was funny after the first couple of years, now it's just the same crap over and over again. Take the latest headlines or whatever is trendy, and make fun of it. ZzZZ. I catch it once in a while, but i usually change the channel after the first commercial break.

Not a fan of The Daily Show or The Colbert Report either, I take it.

I honestly think they jumped the shark a few seasons ago. That's not to say that it hasn't been watchable or decent since then, just that... basically it's The Simpsons around season 12; it used to be incomparably brilliant, but has clearly reached the point of no return.

Nevertheless, hell yeah I'll be watching tonight.

I'm really hoping they leave the cliffhanger as is, and do something completely unrelated (like last time with Cartman's dad being revealed).

Also, I find it quite humorous that you can still watch the Super Best Friends episode, the one where they already portrayed Mohammad, from the South Park Studios website. Yet they cannot show footage of that episode during an actual episode.
