I hope they manage to resolve everything.
As if!
Poor poor Libby.

Re: Lost final season
They said ALL questions will be answered by the end. Also, the episode about Richard was one of the best episodes I've ever seen. (out of all seasons)
Re: Lost final season
I am digging this season. I thought the first two seasons were great, the middle two seasons sucked bad and last season was good. I guess it was just that all that off the island shit was really boring.

No, "they" (Cuse and Lindeloff) NEVER said they would answer ALL questions. They said they will only answer the questions they deem important. A LOT of wiggle room in that statement.
Re: Lost final season
I followed Lost of years
Some of it is extremely interesting, and others part are plain crap
It was good when the "Others" were mysterious , and we couldn't understand what was going on, we couldn't wait for answers.
But they totally wen over board with paranormal stuff , I say they made it ridiculous with time travel, time travel probably made a lot of people stop watching.
The series was stretched a season or two I must say. Now I can't wait until the finale , but most people of the world are wondering new answers raise even more questions, how will it end? I just hope this will not be another Sopranos.
None the less I think Lost is one of those shows that defined the 2000's , when our kids come out in this world, they will be like "Our parents are so old , they used to watch Lost back in the 2000's" Its like Friends for the 90's and Knight Rider for the 80's .
Lost is about the only good show that I won't recommend for others. Its acquired taste I guess.

Well its not like the Paranormal stuff came out of no where though. The smoke monster was killing people right from the start. And time travelling was foreshadowed from season 1 or 2 onwards. I clearly remember a scene where Hurley and Sayid pick up radio waves from the 50's and Hurley actually comments about time travel.
But you are right on the money about the show being stretched. They only wanted 5 seasons when the show was born but the network demanded 6 after the success of the first season. Thus the writers split up a bunch of story and padded in un-wanted portions to make a new season.

Re: Lost final season
I thought the smoke would be explained as some monster/living organism on the island because its weird.
Never imagined how far they would go, I think the show is considered Sci Fi now
I think it would have been more interesting if they kept it as if it was a really mysterious island on planet earth keeping it real, but now its just pure imagination .
I am not sure how much fans get into tv shows, but personally with every new season I forget what happened in the last one. I would never remember picking radio signal from the 50's in season 1 for example.
