They are rolling up prices!

DID. THEY. HAVE. ANY. MORE.goatlll wrote:There is a Walmart near my house that still has GameCube games, and one of them was Ikaruga. Since they were no longer priced, and the only GC game they had that was priced was a Madden gme for 10 bucks, that is what I paid for an unopened copy.

Why yes, yes they did. I got all 3. And do you know the best part? The absolute best part?Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:DID. THEY. HAVE. ANY. I paid with a 50, the lady at the register put in that I paid 500, got confused, and gave me change for a 100. So after tax, I actually made money on that. I got my 50 back plus 9 bucks for 3 sweet, unopened copies of Ikaruga. Life can be good sometimes.
I couldn't let that much of an error slide. Especially after getting a good deal on the games. I'd have to mention the cash error to the lady. Otherwise I may not be finding those good deals anymore.goatlll wrote:Why yes, yes they did. I got all 3. And do you know the best part? The absolute best part?Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:DID. THEY. HAVE. Wow. I can't believe you'd accept that. I've always given everything back at a register that I get incorrectly - even if it is a penny. Usually the cashiers are extremely grateful because it means less trouble (or $ out of pocket) for them. If you take incorrect change knowingly, I'd say it's akin to walking into the store and stealing something off the shelf without getting caught: you got away with it, but it's still theft.goatlll wrote:

Off topic, but i've a few similar situations happen to me. Once I went in to check cashing place, stoned off my ass, to get a $200 "payday loan". After making out a personal check for $200 + whatever fees they charged, the cashier started counting off my money and went past $200 and kept going until she reached $500. I kept my mouth shut and looked at the paperwork before I left, and right there in black and white was a receipt for a $200 loan, and they had my personal check for $200, yet I walked out of there with $500. I kept it, of course. I was nervous for a week until the check I wrote them cleared, but as far as I was concerned, it was their screw up.Why yes, yes they did. I got all 3.
