My avatar is a profile of me with my hair up. I don't often have it like that. It's always shaved around the sides (at least for the past few years), but usually I have it pulled back in a tail with a curly strand hanging down the front side.

The user name JT is short for Jungle Toad. I've used variations of that name on forums for a long time, mostly on music forums. The name came out of my love for the jungle/drum n bass music style. I was crafting some particularly croaky basslines on one of my synthesizers one night and my brother came in and told me I sounded like a jungle toad. The name stuck. Jungle Toad has been my online handle for over 10 years.

Both tie into a Seinfeld reference.

"I'm Cosmo Kramer, the Assman."

For whatever reason, I've always held an affinity for the name "Assman" (okay, so it's not really a mystery; it cracks me the hell up). Usually when I sign up somewhere it's already taken, but I guess I lucked out here and as a result didn't have to add an arbitrary adjective to it.

My username is also similar to my email address. A lot of people when when they see my email address think it stands for Great Mountain Biker but it actually is GT Mountain Biker. GT is the brand name of my steed which is actually pretty "old" considering that I bought it in '94. It was one of the early full suspension bikes. I still ride it but only on the roads/bike trails with the family.

It's fairly unique but there are a few people out there who use the same name.

I never looked at it that closely so I thought it was some sort of video game alien picture. Now that you mentioned what it is, I now get it.

 Same here!

I think mine are pretty obvious:

I love the movie Blade Runner. Yes I have been told it is a lame name, but whatev.

And I love Shenmue, hence Ryu Hazuki.

Blade Runner is a phenominal movie. I do like Decker's voice narration in certain scenes, even though the director didn't.
Having seen the various cuts including the Unicorn, other scenes are better without the voice-over.

Man my camera sucks.

Having never closely inspected it, I always assumed it was the inside of a CRT monitor because of your handle.
