Never switch myself, knife always on the southpaw.

In a Chinese restaurant our waiter would initially fill our plates using two large spoons like chopsticks, very slick!

It can be embarrassing at times for me at restaurants.

Sushi, not a problem. Large cuts of meat can be an attention getter, as sometimes my knife won't be sharp enough, creating some problems.

I could always ask the chef to slice the meat for me, but that is a whole different level of embarrassment. Adaptability is my middle name, and rarely do I compromise. From playing piano, to MMA, to playing hockey on a collegiate level, I like to do things my way. If a knife slips out of reach while eating, so what.
