Now what PS1 games are on a Microsoft console? Just because PS3 and XBOX360 have virtually the same stuff, why punish the ps2 and ps1? I think Sony deserves its own section if just for the ps1 alone. Microsoft can go with PC gaming since it is the newest gaming console company. I don't think anyone would argue that the Xbox is retro so who cares. PS1 is at least more debatible.

Here's how it should be:
1. Sega
2. Nintendo
3. Sony
4. NEC
5. Atari
6. PC/Mac and Microsoft
7. Other ( this would be older computers and obscure consoles)
Where's my chippy? There's my chippy.

They were, but we want them to go to seed now.

This. The number of cross-platform titles is insane this generation.
Yeah, I thought the same thing after I found out FF13 was coming out on 360 as well as PS3. Crazy times.
Arguably, it was worse late last gen. Just look up on Gamespot how many systems Lego Star Wars 2 came out for.
Actually, I'll do it for you. It came out for:
PC
PSP
360
DS
Cell Phones
Xbox
GCN
GBA
Every game that came out in 2005-2006 seemed to have to have both current and next gen versions, so there was a lot of cross platforming going on.

Right, but games like LEGO Star Wars you knew would be hitting every system.

This gen, we've seen long-time PlayStation exclusives go to Microsoft (Main Final Fantasy series, Metal Gear Solid, Tekken, Grand Theft Auto. Sure, some of these games found their way to the Xbox, but the PS2 got them first - and by a wide margin) and we've also seen games that were labeled "Only For Xbox 360" jump ship to the PS3 (Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, Star Ocean 4), sometimes in a little over a year.

This gen, third-party exclusivity is practically like death in comic books. They always try to make it seem permanent, but no one believes them, and all the nerds just place bets on how long it'll take.

This is a place where Sony and Microsoft can sit in the same forum together. It's good that there is very little fanboyism on this site. Let's not change that. Besides, it's also a retro game site and sony and microsoft are still considered new kids on the block.

Are people seriously asking for more subforums? There's only so much one can babble about.
