I'd clamor for Konami, Capcom, SNK, and Square to get their own forums first. Some of their old series span more than just Nintendo and Sega consoles.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Until they start differentiating themselves more, I see no reason to separate them.

This. The number of cross-platform titles is insane this generation.

Yeah, I thought the same thing after I found out FF13 was coming out on 360 as well as PS3. Crazy times.

The real sad thing is that I bet Microsoft and Sony introduced Natal and Move to give themselves more distance and unique experiences - but this is only going to mean games made for Natal will also be made with the Move in mind, and vice versa...

...and probably even made with the Wii in mind as well! Hell, we might actually just merge all of them and have a "Console" forum!

A computer gaming forum is needed though. And before you say that falls under MS, that does not cover Atari 8-bits, Commodores etc... And I do not think vintage computer gaming fits really well with Neo-geo, TG-16 and N-Gage.

Edit: And we STILL need a high score forum. :P
