I'd like to use a Genesis 6-button or Saturn game pad for the Game Boy Player and Virtual Console. I don't understand why other companies didn't emulate Sega's d-pad, unless there was a patent issue or something. Those things are silky smooth. Then for some reason Sega went with the Nintendo style for Dreamcast. Anyway, does anyone know of a Sega-style controller or adapter for GameCube/Wii?
My games for sale: Racketboy, Amazon, eBay
My systems: NES, Nintendo 64, GameCube (Game Boy Player), Wii / Game & Watch: Ball, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Advance SP (x2), Nintendo DSi / Genesis (Sega CD, 32X), Saturn / Game Gear / PlayStation, PlayStation 2 / Xbox / Mac (Windows PC) / iPhone, iPad

Nice! Kind of weird button mapping, but good to know an adapter exists, anyway. Have you used one of these?

Why, does this forum have a "no Red Dwarf joke" rule?

I have not used one, but I am very tempted by it. I just cant justify an adapter for my Wii when I can get more use out of one for my PC.

Its more that thinking of a quote/researching one, will make me want to watch it. And I really dont have time for that until next week.

so far I'm not thrilled. I placed my order on 3/5. I got an order confirmation (ie: they took my money and gave me a receipt) that day. As of 3/15 still no shipping confirmation. I sent them two emails asking if my order had shipped. I tried to call them on 3/16, but because of the huge time zone difference between East Coast USA and Hawaii, I had a difficult time getting hold of anyone. Finally on 3/17 I got an response email from them that just said "your order has been processed and will ship soon." Not even a shipping date! Just a vague "soon." Sigh. I'd cancel the order, but what I ordered is way too awesome and too good a price.
update: After several more emails, they told me this morning that my item is on backorder and that ETA is "about a week." :?

yeah they really have me by the short and curlies. I pretty much feel like I"m giving them one more week and demanding a refund.

I looked it up... I actually did have a problem with Baysoftgames. I ordered from them and waited and waited and waited. They never shipped and eventually told me item was out of stock (it's still listed as in stock on their page today).

BTW, toysnjoys ultimately did the same thing. I place an order on 3/5 and today (4/5!) they finally said it was out of stock. Sigh.
