Also I want magic flying lolis.
I will buy the USA version although I own the Japanese version.

It will be nice to have Mega Black Label on disc. Plus they may be more willing to localize Deathsmiles 2 for XMAS

Anyone going to PAX East: Aksys will be doing a Deathsmiles tournament there. Kinda makes me wish I was going to PAX East.

The LE (NA release) has been announced for a shocking $49.99. Apparently this is NOT an April Fools joke.

Deathsmiles LE includes:

-Deathsmiles Faceplate featuring four cute angels trapped in a creepy gothic cage! This faceplate was never released in Japan, go us!
-Deathsmiles Premium Arrange Album! 15 spooky high energy tracks selected by Manabu Namiki, Director of Deathsmiles!
-Deathsmiles horizontal artbox and game to compliment the shmup orientation!

Even though I don't really want any of the extras, Aksys is great about their releases...limited editions are the only editions initially, for no extra charge! In this case, less than full price! I assume I'm right in that there's no regular edition, at least at launch?

There is not alot they have to translate. What is the hold up?
What do you think?

Games (like most things) these days are 1% engineering and 99% marketing/politics/administrative-bullshit.

When Cave released Mushihime Sama Futari region-free, they said the biggest delay was getting a rating in all territories. Ditto for the insane amount of effort Capcom had to go through to get a western release of Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

Barely any of the cost, time or effort is on the software development side. With possibly the exception of indie developers, those days are long gone.

Just a little off topic but has there been a good arcade stick released for the 360?
