Deathsmiles coming to US thanks to Aksys

Of course, they do this about a week after I finally bite the bullet and get a JP console and pick up DS and DOJ. Oh well, at least it'll be good for DOJ, ESPGaluda 2, and Ketsui. I'll probably pick this release up as well to support the release.

Awesome that it appears they didn't pussy out and make it a XBLA release. Full retail release FTW.

I was just reading about this. The game looks great! I'll definitely give it a shot once they release it.

It's from Chrono Trigger. It's one of the drummers from the prehistoric band.

I love me my shmups, so I'll probably grab this.

One question though for those who have already imported it. That site says that it has co-op play via Xbox Live. Does it have local co-op too?

The description on the site makes it sound like the Mega Black Label DLC will be on the disk. If this is the case it is very unlikely that it will be region free, as it would let the Japanese players import it and get the game + DLC for much cheaper than it costs them.
