The Wiimote's D-pad is adequate. It just feels really small on my thumb, which is why I usually don't bother with it.SpaceBooger wrote:Yeah, I think the D-Pad is comfortable with the "jacket" on the Wiimote.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:Nah, the Wii's D-Pad is just fine (At least it is on my launchie wiimote) it's all about hand position and grip after which it's just like any old Nintendo D-Pad and reminds me of the original GBA's D-Pad which was awesome.GSZX1337 wrote: Because the Wii's D-Pad is a piece of shit.

I'm in. Metroid is one of the few series I can say I have never been disappointed with any of the games. This looks to be no exception to that.

Personally I simply treat the D-Pad on the wiimote like a pad for the tip of my thumb and it works just fine whereas other D-Pads like the SNES however get the whole pad of my thumb on top instead.

Fair enough. My problem is that because it's small, and I also have somewhat large thumbs, sometimes I'll just end up mashing the entire pad at once by accident (always at critical moments, it seems).Dylan wrote:Ah, gotcha.
