You could use Audacity on your mac to record audio from the prosound line-out of your DMG. The audio capabilities of mac computers are usually better (less noisy) than the audio hardware packaged with most PCs.

Same cart I got. It works well.

No, the lineout goes to your linein on your mac via a 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack cable.

Line in would be better since that's generally expected to be at a certain loudness. On PCs, the mic jack is usually pink and the line in is usually baby blue. Not sure on Macs if they have standard colors like that.

If your using a macbook there is only a 'in' and a 'out' jack, at least on the two I have owned.

I could get the songs to a PC then turn them into mp3's or something so I can get them on my mac right?

And I ordered this cart

I think a better way to do it would be to use a good sound recording program and just use a standard 1/8" audio jack running from the line-out of the Gameboy (headphone jack) to the microphone jack on your mac. Just hit record and play the song.

edit: doh again! I missed this page! damn you RacketBoy!

so, in other words, +1 on the mic jack idea.

For simplicity's sake, if you didn't know, its the same cable people use with MP3 players with the AUX jack on their car, just a straight through cable with the same plug on both ends.

Yeah I always call it the mic jack. Like on boom boxes. They used to have the headphone jack and the other one always said mic. But I know what one you guys are talking about. This should be no problem. Thanks.

OK I got my LSDJ cart but I cannot get it to work. it was supposed to be loaded with the LSDJ rom but when I turn on the GB nothing happens. No graphics just the gameboy sound. I have the rom on my comp but I cant get the cartridge to register on my desktop when I plug it in to the usb cable. I even tried on my friends PC. Nothing.

How do I get a rom on this thing?
