this is actually really true. it's relatively easy to find records from japanese hardcore bands (envy, gauze, bastard, gism, organism, crystal lake, etc). all i want is insane power metal. x-japan rules, btw.

buckethead is awesome, but i seriously like circuit v panther better, just because he is able to do so much more within the context of a song without it feeling like the loose wankery that buckethead espouses.

Since this topic made me go pick up some more MCM, I found this seller. Tons of X-Japan.

They are very popular for jrock listeners but too metal for my tastes.
